"You need a chaos in your soul, to give a birth to the dancing star."
- Friedrich Nietzsche
I began this blog to review what I have studied myself, but I hope this place also helps you out to explore the exciting field, STATISTICS!
My name is Jeeyoung Lee, and I would like to share my passion about statistics, math, programmings and career development on this blog.
My interests are data analysis/modelling, data visualization, big data, machine learning, and biostatistics. I have experience in programming in R, SAS, Python and Excel with macros & Pivot table as well. Now I'm exploring the big data tools, Hadoop and Spark.
Education
I graduated from University of Toronto with HBSc in Applied Statistics specialized in, Fundamental Genetics and its Applications disciplinary field. I finished master program, Applied Statistics, at York University. I wrote a survey paper regarding the HIV/AIDS longitudinal data analysis using segment mixed-effects models under the supervision of Dr. Wei Liu. In this paper, I also conducted the simulation study using WinBUGS (Bayesian using Gibbs Sampling) and R.
Thanks!
Thank you Jeeyoung Lee this is an amazing blog. I am a senior majoring in chemistry, and chemical engineering with a minor in applied mathematics and this is a great resource for those in STEM field looking to understand applied mathematics
